The engine is designed for easy assembly. Before beginning assembly, please read
all the assembly instructions, become familiar with the individual parts, and allow
sufficient work space for the assembly.

The following tools will be needed for assembly; Phillips head screwdriver, small
hammer, needle nose pliers, two wrenches and table vice.

Let us begin the assembly of the model airplane engine.

1:Front Bearing assembly

Required parts:

Bearing (40090) Crankshaft (40080) Seal (40100)

Tool used: Small hammer Spark plug threads

1.1 Lubricants are required during assembly on the bearings and spark plug threads.
1.2 Put the bearing onto the thread of crankshaft;
1.3 Put spark plug thread on;
1.4 Knock the bearing in with small hammer

1.5 Use assembly lubricant on the output shaft for assembly,then push the seal in
as Picture 3 (Note the right direction of the seal )

2:Propeller shaft assembly

Parts used:

Aluminum propeller shaft (40130) M8 Split washer(40270) Metal propeller threa (40140) M10 Nut (40260x 2) Woodruff key(40230)

2.1 Adjust the table vice and put it crankshaft and then tighten the table vice

2.3 Twist two M10 nut (40260) onto part 40140 opposite , in order to tighten the metal propeller shaft in the next step .

2.5 Tighten No1 and No2 nuts according picture 7

2.6 Use 18-20N.M torque tp tighten the No 2 nut against the No 1 nut to tweak the metal propeller shaft in.

2.7 Unscrew two nuts.

3: Piston Ring assembly

Note:(1).Please refer to figure picture 10 for the right direction of piston ring
(2).Be careful ,do not break the piston ring; Required parts :Piston(40040)?Piston ring(40030)

3.1 Using thumbs and index fingers gently spread the piston ring to slide over the piston top and down into the piston ring groove. Note the location of the gap with respect to the locating pin on the piston.

3.2 Gently rotating piston rings, piston rings can be turned easily

4:Circlip and Piston pin assembly

Notes:(1)Circlip is small; take care to avoid loss
(2)The position of the piston with respect to the crankshaft assembly, see picture 14

Tool required:

needle nose pliers

Parts required:

Circlip(40060 x 2) Needle roller bearing(40070) Piston Pin(40050) Cranksharf(40080)

4.1 Seat the circlip into the groove of the piston pin bore using the needle nose pliers

4.2 Put needle roller bearing into the arm of crankshaft

4.3 Put crankshaft into piston
4.4 Insert the piston pin into the needle bearing and then secure with a circlip using needle nose pliers
4.5 Do the same as step 4.1 to assembly other side of circlip

5:Rear bearing assembly

Notes: Apply lubricant to the shaft

Parts required: Bearing(40090)

Tool required: Small hammer

Gently tap bearing onto shaft and knock it intocarefully

6:Cylinder assembly

Notes:(1)Apply lubricant to the cylinder bore prior before
(2)Before beginning this step Please be sure to use clean gasoline cleaning the cylinder wall to ensure that no residual or fixtures
(3)Applied sealant, not excessive

Parts required: Cylinder(40020),Crankshaft unit

Correctly orient the piston and crank assembly output with front of the cylinder as shown in the photo
